Acupuncture Approach

1. Directly on top of the withers for 5 minutes.

2-7. Treat just dorsal off mid-line working from the withers to tail, remember to do both the right and left sides of the back. Treat each area for 3-5 minutes.

8. Bai Hui - This is the junction between the lumbar and sacrum. Treat directly on midline for 10-20 minutes.

Tip - When treating Bai Hui, you may duct tape the transducer head in place. You can wrap the handle with a towel or cloth so that it sits level on the horse’s back. Never leave the horse unattended while hooked up to the Equitonic.

Direct Treatment

Treat over painful area for 30 minutes, and be sure to treat both sides of the horse’s back.
